2017 Schedule

This year we have another exciting saddle series planned.  All events are CMSA affiliated and will count towards your total points which will be tallied at the end of the Lloydminster CPCA finals.

We will be using the same handicap system as it did provide us with an even representation of levels in the top 3.

Please check back often as new events and information will be added as details are made available.

Requirements

Competitors must have Saskatchewan Horse Federation (if you live in Saskatchewan) or Alberta Equestrian Federation insurance (if you live in Alberta). Visit our Links section for more information about these organizations.

Also, you must belong to our Border Cowboys Club to compete in our Summer Saddle Series. This will be checked when you register for each of our shoots. This can be done online and cards can be printed right after you apply so you will have your number.

Handicap Point System

  • Level 1 -3 seconds per run
  • Level 2 -2 seconds per run
  • Level 3 -1 seconds per run
  • Level 4 -0.5 seconds per run
  • Level 5 -0.25 seconds per run
  • Level 6 no discount

No money is paid out on the handicap.  Handicap points are for the prizes only.
